Dr. Sarah Lane O.D. –Founding Director
Dr. Lane graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Vermont in Burlington, Vermont with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Medical Laboratory Science. She worked in the Clinical Chemistry Laboratory at Fletcher Allen Healthcare, before returning to school to study Optometry. She attended the Pennsylvania College of Optometry (PCO), now part of Salus University where she experienced a life changing event that led her to experience first- hand the benefits of Optometric Vision Therapy. Dr. Lane coordinated her externship program to focus specifically on Neuro Optometric Rehabilitation and Optometric Vision Therapy. She worked with doctors in California and New Jersey to learn the complex art of training visual skills and visual perception. Dr. Lane continued her education at the State University of New York College of Optometry in Manhattan and earned Residency Certification in Vision Therapy and Rehabilitation. Dr. Lane owns Focus Vision and Learning Center in Spring Lake New Jersey where she developed her own program called Meaningful Moves® a movement program for babies and young children that optimizes early learning in an effort to prevent developmental difficulties. Dr. Lane maintains active professional membership and support in the following organizations. American Optometric Association (AOA), New Jersey Society of Optometric Physicians (NJSOP),College of Optometrists in Vision Development (COVD), Neuro Optometric Rehabilitation Association (NORA), Brain Injury Alliance of New Jersey (BIANJ), Optometric Extension Program Foundation (OEPF) Doctor Lane is currently pursuing her Functional Medicine Degree.
